Hi! I have an IGEPv2 RC board. I\\\'d like to setup a simple 1-wire temperature sensor for monitoring. How can I do that? Is there any interface (gpio, etc) on the baseboard for 1-wire devices? Thanks for your reply, biga.

Hi, OMAP3 has one 1-Wire interface (hdq_sio/gpio 170) , unfortunately on IGEP v2 this pin is used for DVI control (DVI_PUP) so it\\\'s not available. OTOH you can use for example an I2C to 1-wire bridge like DS2482-100 or similar. For more information about 1-Wire on OMAP3, see HDQ/1-Wire / HDQ/1-Wire Environment section of the AM/DM37x Multimedia Device Technical Reference Manual (literature number SPRUGN4).

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I1ve found a 1-wire->i2c bridge. Can you take a look at this one whether I can use it or not? http://microcontrollershop.com/product_ ... ts_id=2515 If yes, where should I connect it? Maybe to J990? And how? :) Thanks, biga

The DS2482-10 uses 3.3V or 5V, but the pins of IGEP board uses 1.8V, you can\\\'t connect directly, you should use a level translator to connect the 1-wire->i2c bridge to the IGEP board.
