Hi all, I hope someone on this forum can help, I have tried to build the igep-dsp-gst-framework using the README in the tarball and I am using kernel/modules 2.6.33.5-0 downloaded from this website but I get the following build error, no modules are available for the symbolic links created by the script therefore. Can anyone help as to what is going on? I\\\'ve checked line 41 of the .cfg throwing the error, var DMAI = xdc.loadPackage(\\\'ti.sdo.dmai\\\'); does anyone know how to make sure this package is available? Hi all, just figured the problem out as soon as I submitted it. Turns out it was my naming conventions, I forgot to rename the kernel folder to linux-kernel-2.6 in the workspace/myigep folder after untar-ing it. After a lot of head scratching and needlessly delving in to lines and lines of code before hand of course. Thanks, people.

However, when trying to load the modules by running the load-modules script on the board, I get an invalid parameters error for cmemk.ko, trying the other parameters in the script shows the same error. Does anyone have any ideas? Many thanks, Stu

Hi, Did you put the MEM= option in uboot? You have to do it and load cmem module with the good parameters (memory should not overlap). Regards, Guillaume

I think so, I\\\'m declaring mem=512M in the boot ini as I\\\'m booting from mmc, here is my boot.ini echo \\\"===== Setup boot settings =====\\\" setenv bootargs-base \\\'mem=512M console=ttyS2,115200n8 console=tty0 omapfb.mode=dvi:1280x768MR-16@60\\\' setenv mmc-bootargs \\\'setenv bootargs ${bootargs-base} root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rw rootwait \\\' echo \\\"===== Load uImage from mmc =====\\\" run mmc-bootargs fatload mmc 0 80200000 uImage.bin bootm 80200000 and the cmemk.ko parameters from the build script are phys_start=0x9BA00000 phys_end=0x9CA00000 pools=20x4096, 4x131072, 2x5250000, 2x1843200, 2x829440 Can I ask how these compare to your set-up parameters? Or does anyone else have any ideas?

The help on this forum is really appreciated by the way, without mentioning mem I would never have caught the issue. I set the vram to 16M and the mem to mem=442M in the bootargs which allow the fb1-16M-settings.sh and load-modules.sh scripts to run without error, but I have to load the modules each time I reboot, any ideas of how to have the modules and settings load with each boot?
