    Hi Manel,

i am building IGEP Gstreamer 3.00.00.
while compiling i came across following message.

    "make[3]: Entering directory `/home/epigon/igep-dsp-gst-framework-3_00_00/c6run_0_94_04_04'
Using the following settings for the platform memory map:
Base Address of Memory Given for DSP Usage = 0x86300000
Amount of memory given for shared heap memory = 0x01000000
Amount of memory given for DSP code and DSPLInk = 0x00D00000

It is the user's responsibility to ensure that the physical memory region from
0x86300000 to 0x88000000 is not used by the ARM/Linux OS."

As per my knowledge these are not correct.

    Regards
    Krishna

Yes it's not correct due this package it's not used ... if you wish use it then you should reconfigure the memory map ...

    Hi,
I try now compile igep-dsp-gst-framework-3_00_00. I respect all depndences running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS in VirtualBox read all from wiki. But in wiki is missed some information. I can't compile after running make I have some time of compiling but compilation stops early. I try 2.0.20 linaro kernel but always stop somewhere.
Somebody have success with framework_3.0 ?

    Regards
    Dan

Hi, I am successful to some extend. I am not able to compile straight after extracting tar.gz file. I am trying to build with CodeSourcery tools. I will update with instructions once done. Cheers krishna

Thanks for interest. I use your SDK image with Ubuntu 8.04. I upgrade it to 10.04.LTS. I have before convert image from vmware to virtualbox. Donwload igep-dsp-gst-framework-3_00_00 and utar it to /home/mcaro/Projects/myigep/workspace/ and after this I run: make dmai make gst make dsplink make And there are attached outputs:

Hi, do you have this directory in your host machine?
    /home/mcaro/Projects/myigep/workspace/igep-dsp-gst-framework-3_00_00
Or do you change the path to the right path as the wiki explain ? Cheers Manel

start with this one: $ make linux_kernel (the compilation kernel it\\\'s optional due in the package be included the ISEE Kernel 2.6.35 and 2.6.35 linaro kernels) But you must compile one before try to compile the rest due dsplink, cmem, lpm and sdma need it. When it finish then: $ make dsplink cmem lpm sdma and then: $ make codecs dmai gst_ti Manel
