Where on the board is the temperature sensor that is on the I2C bus?
We can read it and it is quite cool!
Is there any sample code to read the temperature sensor in the OMAP chip itself?
What SoC temperature is considered too hot for normal usage
Thanks for assistance.

    Hi Chris,

    I answer your questions below:

Where on the board is the temperature sensor that is on the I2C bus?

Board temperature sensor has a 6SOT package and it is located between U701 and U800 RAM chips

Is there any sample code to read the temperature sensor in the OMAP chip itself?

You can read (in mºC) the external TMP102 sensor and two internal OMAP5 sensors into these paths:
    /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon0/temp1_input
    /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon1/temp1_input
    /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon2/temp1_input

"cat" commands should be enough to test them

What SoC temperature is considered too hot for normal usage
More than 90ºC during long periods of time could damage the uC. When board reaches 110 ºC it reboots automatically

    Cheers!
