Reboot problem

Hi All,

everytime I perform a "shutdown -r now" to reboot the board it always hangs and doesn't boot up. The ssh connection disconnects, and it seems the system is going down, but after some seconds I can see the red and green leds turning on (or only the red) and the system doesn't boot up. Unplugging and plugging the power cord solves the problem, but I want to work remotely. Any idea how to force a complete reboot (like unplugging the power) or what could cause this weird issue?

Thanks for your answer in advance,
Gabor

    Hi Gabor,

"shutdown -r now" should performs well. Can you give more details about your software (yocto, linaro, kernel, xloader ...)?

I used the default firmware without any problem

    Cheers!

    Hi Gabor,

Use linux-2.6.37.y head instead linux-2.6.35.y. Which Linaro version are you using?

I will try to reproduce the problem later

    Cheers!
